Wandering the Sky

Here’s a short video composed of clips shot on a couple of beautiful winter flying days in January 2013. It features my recently acquired Cavalier SA102.5 and a C-170. Some of it was shot from a Piper Super Cruiser, too.

The video was shot using a Drift HD170 Stealth, an iPod Touch 4G, and a couple of iPhones. The quality of the video from the Drift is really dumbed down here, but it is an outstanding action camera. I highly recommend it.

The Cavalier was designed by Stan Macleod and this one was superbly built by Jack Weibe. I’m just the most recent custodian of this terrific and very capable little airplane.
